Heather R. Betsko, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Betsko is among the very few optometrists in the state of Arizona to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She grew up in Pennsylvania where she attended Millersville University and graduated in 2000 with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry. She then went on to continue her education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. After graduating in 2004, Dr. Betsko relocated to Arizona to complete her residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care Optometry. She is very involved and dedicated to her work. She belongs to the American Optometric Association, the Arizona Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Betsko has been practicing optometry since 2001 and has extensive knowledge of ocular diseases. She now owns and operates her own private practice where she strives to give patients the best care possible. In her spare time she enjoys running marathons and spending time with her husband and their two cats. She enjoys traveling, reading, and shopping for Coach purses. She also has an appreciation for food as she is always eating and baking cookies.

Johna Kobold, ABO Certified Optician

Johna, our store manager and ABO certified optician, has over 15 years of experience in the optical industry. She strives to achieve the highest patient satisfaction in helping patients choose the "right pair" of glasses to fit their everyday lifestyle and needs. She has a passion for patient care and customer service and she continues her education by attending ABO certified seminars on the newest lens technology and frame trends. In her spare time she enjoys doing volunteer work for the boxer luv rescue, baking, shopping and spending time with her husband and their two lovable dogs, Shane and Vegas.
